Lys Davidson @ The Flower Studio is a boutique Floral Design Company run by me, Lys Davidson servicing Dunbartonshire, Loch Lomond and Glasgow.

I have a creative background in both graphic design and floral design.
After graduating from University in Rhode Island, US, I took a career in Banking/Marketing and Public Relations Department designing all new product launch material, PR, researching trend, directing photoshoots, created presentations and organising all the Bank's High Profile Events. This is where my passion for flowers developed further.

After returning to the UK and my two children went to school, I enrolled at College for two years and hold a SVQ Floristy - Level 3 and worked as an Independent Floral Designer throughout the North East and North Yorkshire specialising in Weddings and Events and also resident florist for many four/five star hotels.

I have taken serveral courses at Jane Packer and Paula Pryke in London and the Scottish School of Floristry, Bearsden.
I Travel to Amsterdam regularly to keep on top of the new floral trends. I have won three major awards for my Floral Designs, "Elton John Loves Flowers", "Remember Paris" and "Gift for a Special Lady".

I returned last year from living in South East Asia for three wonderful years and had the opportunity to work with many five and six star hotels creating fabulous designs, working with many flowers which are not available in the UK, and working with many different asian cultures doing their weddings which was a fantastic experience and something I will always cherish with great memories. Back home in my native Glasgow, Lys Davidson @ The Flower Studio was born.
